Dirty 07:53
All my clothes are dirty like rubbish It’s weird 'cause I wash them often They stain too easily and quickly, Just because of what I do Someone said new clothes don't look good on me 'Cause I wear dirty clothes all the time New ones get dirty soon anyway, Just because of what I do Clothes can show your personality People may judge you by your outfit Then I'm proud of my dirty clothes I'm gonna keep doing what I do The blood and sweat, soaked into the fabric Will never be removed by detergent Until all the stitches come undone I'm gonna keep doing what I do Dirty dirty dirty dirty dirty Dirty dirty dirty dirty dirty Dirty dirty dirty dirty dirty Dirty dirty dirty dirty dirty Dirty dirty dirty dirty All my clothes are always Dirty dirty dirty dirty dirty Dirty dirty dirty dirty All my clothes are dirty like rubbish It’s weird 'cause I wash them often They stain too easily and quickly, Just because of what I do Someone said new clothes don't look good on me 'Cause I wear dirty clothes all the time New ones get dirty soon anyway, Just because of what I do

Every time I go to an unfamiliar neighborhood I feel like I’m an alien Well, It’s funny because this is my mother country Eat, sleep, work, repeat I rarely go over my barriers, I guess I’m stuck in my routine Let me take a little detour today ‘cause the weather’s great Everything's off from where it's supposed to be I feel like I’m in an alternate universe I'm gonna take a look around ‘cause it’s bizarre Discovering new things from familiar ones is fun I’m like a newborn baby Everything I’m sick of is interesting again

Oh, there was a super-massive void in my mind While time was stretching to infinity I am the lost astronaut drifting in space I will cut the string, I’m ready to be sucked in

My bike is slower Than a super car But I can overtake it in traffic Upside and downside to everything I don't work in A skyscraper But I don't have to wait for lifts Upside and downside to everything My house isn’t as big As a stadium But It takes less time to clean and tidy Upside and downside to everything I’m not on the Payroll of a company So I’m not afraid when Monday rolls ‘round Upside and downside to everything It’s all about viewpoint Now my mind is upside down There is always two sides To everything ‘round us My car’s not smarter Than the latest one But I can enjoy shifting gears Upside and downside to everything I can't afford To hire experts That makes me a master of DIY Upside and downside to everything All my clothes are Dirty and worn out So I don't mind if they stain Upside and downside to everything I'm a loner I rarely meet people So I can be more independent Upside and downside to everything It’s all about viewpoint Now my mind is upside down There is always two sides To everything ‘round us

Information Burying me alive Too much to process Oh, it’s a death wish Losing touch with reality Follow the blue light Whether it’s big or small There is no way out Dopamine loop Losing touch with reality Brain overload Bad evolution Look at what's happening Nonstop distraction Fog covers me Losing touch with reality Stimulation Oh, scrolled right past it Numb to everything Oh, dead inside Losing touch with reality Brain overload

She told me that I don’t look around Once I’m into something, It’s true Like a racehorse Tunnel vision Keep my eyes shut, fingers in ears Nothing can deter me anyway Don’t need advice Tunnel vision Lost in a forest, need a little rest By the big tree blocking my sight There's no exit Tunnel vision My mind changes too fast on a whim What is good and what is bad? Lost my judgement Tunnel vision I know it’s a trap I made for myself Let me go through

Out 03:28
Going out is a necessity Otherwise, I’ll be so stressed out Even if I’ve got no plans and no one to meet Locked myself in the small apartment Settle in, that’s impossible for me I’m only trying to clear the spiderwebs off my brain Wandering is my favourite hobby Keep on walking 'til the soles are worn out Going on a walk alone is always fun Being out is a necessity Otherwise, I’ll miss all the little things Even if they're just ordinary stuff People, weather, mistakes, discovery, sound and conversations Friends, emotion, smell, inspiration and chances Yeah

Chihuahua 04:44
You say we’re small So you think we’re weak Well, you might be right But we're ready to fight We've got big brains Also we're fearless Don't mess with us Or you're dead meat We look pretty cute But don't judge us by that We bark like thunder And we move like wind Did you say we’re small? Do you still think we’re weak? Don't mess with us Or you're dead meat Chihuahua Chihuahua Chihuahua We are cute Chihuahua Chihuahua Chihuahua We are smart Chihuahua Chihuahua Chihuahua We are small Chihuahua Chihuahua Chihuahua But we are strong You might’ve heard the news That we took over a town Oh, that’s not a rumor You better run away Do you still want a fight? Then come to the desert We will offer you As sacrifice to Techichi We look pretty cute But don't judge us by that We bark like thunder And we move like wind Did you say we’re small? Do you still think we’re weak? Don't mess with us Or you're dead meat Chihuahua Chihuahua Chihuahua We are cute Chihuahua Chihuahua Chihuahua We are smart Chihuahua Chihuahua Chihuahua We are small Chihuahua Chihuahua Chihuahua But we are strong

about

During our band practices, we often ended up jamming after “Wormhole”, since the song's original ending was a fade out. We were trying to figure out how to end the song and it ended differently every show.

One day, while I was listening back to BP and show recordings, one of the endings caught my attention. It was just a random guitar solo, but I thought that some of the rhythm and melody were pretty catchy, leading me to create “Stretched Time” using a single phrase from the solo.

After that, we played “Stretched Time” in every show, and it became a tune that completed “Wormhole”. All the members loved the song ‘cause it had a kinda krautrock vibe, and we’ve always been big fans of the genre. I decided to write more songs using the guitar solo and comprise an entire album.

It’s funny because the original idea for our third album wasn’t like that at all. I was going to put some leftovers from my demo folder and do some nasty recordings. Maybe I thought that it’d be less fun to make an album with a bunch of random songs, ‘cause I can do that anytime when I don’t have a specific concept.

With this new concept, the writing process was kinda strange and new to me. I had written a few more songs using the guitar solo, but I still needed more and I had already used all the material. So I started using the songs I had already made, either by incorporating a new riff or new chord progression (sometimes I reverse the one I already used) using the same bass and tempo as the previous song, or by slowing down the bass and creating a new riff from it. It felt like I was remixing my own songs. I think I really enjoyed the writing process, which I’ve never felt while making an album before. (The mixing was pretty tough though lol)

The initial idea for “Chihuahua” originated from Woonghee’s lost demo titled “Chewbacca”. Around 2016-17, he had shared his demos for his new side project with me. If my memory is correct, the demo only consisted of the main riff and the hook melody, both of which I ended up using as the intro and bridge for “Chihuahua”. Anyway, I’m sure that his first demo was pretty damn good.

Even before starting Wah, he and I often said that we should drop the demo sometime. though I was still thinking that the demo’s sound might be somewhat different from the overall vibe of the rest of the songs on the album, but I wanted to put it on anyway.

I started remaking it, and I asked Woonghee to send me the original demo again as a reference, but he said that he had lost it, haha… so I had to recall the sound relying only on my memory. I’ve never made a metal(-ish) song before, so I just did it the way I could. I shared the first demo with other boys, and they loved it! so I decided to include it on the album. I'm happy that we were able to bring the demo back to life!

Thanks to all who have discovered this album, and I hope you enjoy it.
